Pelham native recognized on Georgia Southern’s President’s List

PELHAM – Madelyn Wiehl, a Pelham native, has been recognized for academic achievement at Georgia Southern University.

GSU recently recognized approximately 2,520 students on the Fall 2024 President’s List. To be eligible for the honor, a student must have at least a 4.0 GPA and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester. Wiehl was named to the list for excellence in academics.

GSU was founded in 1906, and offers approximately 155 different degree programs to over 26,100 students. GSU has 10 colleges on three campuses in Statesboro, Savannah and Hinesville, Georgia, as well as offering online instruction.
