The annual Albert L. Scott Library Piney Woods Festival is set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be arts and crafts with food vendors set up in the pine grove behind the library.
The 50th annual Fire Prevention Parade will be held on Montevallo Main Street at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 and will end at Orr Park with activities lasting until 1 p.m.
