The Thompson High School class of 2024 will throw their caps for one final hurrah during commencement on Tuesday, May 21 starting at 6 p.m. at the UAB Bartow Arena in downtown Birmingham. University of Alabama broadcaster Chris Stewart will deliver the keynote address.

The 2024 edition of Alabaster CityFest will take place on Saturday, June 1 on the front lawn of Thompson High School starting at 9 a.m. and will feature a regional music lineup and a host of other attractions, including vendors and food trucks.
