ALABASTER - Alabaster is hosting its annual health fair on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Warrior Arena at Thompson High School. This year’s theme is titled Health and Harmony. The event is planned to feature health screenings, doctors from a variety of disciplines, health seminars and more.

SHELBY COUNTY - Learn how to use Canva design program to create custom buttons for fun or promotion on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Albert L. Scott Library. Attendees will learn how to use the various button machines to make and take their own buttons.

SHELBY COUNTY - Join the Albert L. Scott Library on Thursday, Sept. 15 to discuss Bewilderment by Richard Powers. The book club will begin at 6:30 p.m.
