Calera Main St. Decoration Contest

CALERA - Calera Main Street is having a decoration contest and they are inviting the public down to celebrate the holidays. A people choice award will be given out on Wednesday, Dec. 15. The public can vote on Calera Main Streets Facebook page starting Wednesday, Dec. 8.

Winter Family Geocaching Scavenger Hunt

PELHAM/NORTH SHELBY – Dec. 1-Feb. 28, North Shelby Library is partnering with Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Use GPS along with picture/written clues to find items. Clues and GPS coordinates provided; spot your target using your GPS enabled device and clues.

MONTEVALLO – The Montevallo Christmas Parade will take place on Dec. 2 from 6–7:30 p.m. Line-up begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Montevallo High School parking lot.

COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County High Theater will be putting on “Santa and the Wicked Wazoo” on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Helena Holiday Festival

HELENA – The Helena Holiday festival will take place on Dec. 3 from 5:30-9 p.m. Featuring arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, Santa, a live nativity scene, live music and so much more. The Helena Beautification Board will also have its Christmas Tree Lighting.
