Concert for a Cause

The annual Concert for a Cause benefitting the Alabama National Cemetery will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 3-4 p.m.

Cheif’s Challenge

The fifth annual Chief’s Challenge will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Montevallo High School football field. The event showcases first responders and the physical standards they must meet competing against local youth organizations. This year's event is a six person relay team challenge.

Monsters on Main

Columbiana’s annual Halloween tradition of Monsters on Main will take place on Columbiana Main Street on Thursday, Oct. 31 with plenty of candy to offer children.

Hometown Halloween

Montevallo’s Hometown Halloween will be celebrated downtown from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. Trick or Treat festivities will take place on Montevallo Main Street.

Chelsea Fall Craft Fair

Chelsea’s fall craft fair will return on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. at the Chelsea Community Center.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

The second annual Dia de los Muertos Festival will take place at 620 Valley Street in Montevallo on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 2-10 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Guns-N-Hoses Cook-off

The Guns-N-Hoses BBQ Cookoff and Charity Ride will take place on Sunday, Nov. 3 in Helena. There will be food, music and first responders will compete for a title.

Calera Winter Wonderland Pageant

Calera’s annual Winter Wonderland Pageant will take place Saturday, Nov. 3 during the annual Festival of Trees celebration with $2,000 in prize packages available.

Liz and the Grand Tour

Liz and the Grand Tour will perform in the Song Theater in Columbiana on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.

Wildflowers

The Tom Petty Tribute Band, Wildflowers, will perform at the Song Theater in Columbiana on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Veterans Day at American Village

Scarecrows in the Park

From Wednesday, Nov. 13 through Thursday, Nov. 21, a parade of scarecrows will be on display at Pelham City Park. Families, individuals, local business and organizations are invited to create a unique scarecrows for the competition.
