Spain Park High School’s commencement ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 22 at 5 p.m. at the Samford University’s Pete Hanna Center.
Pelham High School Graduation
Pelham High School will hold its graduation ceremony at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena on Thursday, May 23. The ceremony itself will begin at 6 p.m., with seniors set to arrive the hour prior at 5 p.m.

Cornerstone Christian School will be holding its Class of 2024 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m. on its campus.
Memorial Day Celebration – American Village
MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION: The American Village in Montevallo will honor veterans at an 11 a.m. service on Monday, May 27. Family-friendly activities will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday Nights at the Cove
Common Ground will perform during the next iteration of Montevallo’s Friday Nights at the Cove on Friday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. at Owl Cove in Montevallo.
Alabaster City Fest
The 2024 edition of Alabaster CityFest will take place on Saturday, June 1 on the front lawn of Thompson High School starting at 9 a.m. and will feature a regional music lineup and a host of other attractions, including vendors and food trucks.
Calera First Friday
The third edition of the Calera First Friday celebration will take place on Friday, June 7 from 6-9 p.m. at the Calera Courtyard. The theme for this program will be a Backyard Bash.
