COLUMBIANA – The first annual Crawfish Boil at The Local Oyster House and Seafood restaurant will take place on Saturday, March 26 at 2 p.m. The menu will be all you can eat crawfish and/or shrimp with corn, potatoes and sausage for $30. Live music, beer specials and a great time.

PELHAM – Join The Shelby County Chamber for the March Community Luncheon, hosted by the Tourism & Recreation Work Group on Wednesday, March 30.  The program will feature an update on Oak Mountain State Park, Alabama’s largest State Park. SHELBY COUNTY – Shelby County will be hosting a Free Landfill Day for Shelby County residents at the Shelby County Highway 70 landfill on Saturday, April 2 and Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The landfill does not accept hazardous waste, tires, batteries or liquid of any type.

PELHAM – The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
