SHELBY COUNTY - Open enrollment for Medicare State Health Insurance Assistance Program will take place at Wilsonville Town Hall on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. People new to Medicare or who want to chance can come and talk to a representative about their choices.

SHELBY COUNTY - Come party with Audible Envy and The Jake Gibson Band at the Blues, Bourbon, & Brews Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m.

Two by Two rescues Barktoberfest has been postponed to Sunday, Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Helena Amphitheater Park. There will be vendors, food trucks, an off-leash dog park, a Two by Two merchandise booth, performances, photobooth and more.

HOOVER - The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope and support. It will take place at Veterans Park in Hoover on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1-4 p.m. The goal of the walk is to unite communities and raise awareness and provide resources on mental health conditions. 

On Saturday, Nov. 12 the inaugural Old Town Car Show will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Church at Old Town.
