Helena Huskies take on the Pelham Panthers Friday night at 6 p.m. at Helena High School.

Storytime hour will take place at 11 a.m. at the Jane B. Holmes Library on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Helena High School will go up against Jackson-Olin in a home game on Friday, Sept. 23.

Tuesday, Oct. 4 kicks off the first October Storytime hour at the Jane B. Holmes Public Library.

The Helena City Council will meet on Monday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

Helena High School will hold its annual commencement ceremony on Monday, May 20 at Samford University’s Pete Hanna Center at 2 p.m.

The third edition of Helena Old Town Live in 2024 will take place on Saturday, June 15 and will be carried by music from Lauren Alaina and Chase Wright at Helena’s Amphitheater park.

Drivin N Cryin will mark the return of two familiar bands to the Helena Old Town Live series on Wednesday, July 3 as Bloodkin and Telluride join the lineup at Helena’s Amphitheater Park.

The Healthcare Center at Buck Creek will host the Mr. and Mrs. Buck Creek pageant on Friday Aug. 30 at 4 p.m. Attendance is free and Miss Alabama’s Teen Ali Mims will crown the winner of the pageant.

The final Helena Old Town Live of 2024 will take place on Sept. 21 with The Bavarian Express and The Vegabonds close out the year. The final show will take place at Helena’s Amphitheater Park.

Helena’s annual Buck Creek Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 11-12 at Helena Amphitheater Park with live music, the duck race, activities and vendors.
