Springer-McLaughlin

Mick and Valerie Springer of Alabaster are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlee, to David McLaughlin.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lawrence and Linda Barnett of Alabaster and the late Walter and Ruth Springer of Pelham. She graduated from Thompson High School in 2001. She then attended the University of Montevallo for a double major in business and Spanish.

The future groom is the son of Chris McLaughlin and Margaret Hulsey (Larry) of Leeds. He is the grandson of Ollie and Faye Armstrong of Ashville. He graduated from Leeds High School in 1994, and is currently employed at Mark’s Outdoor Sports.

The wedding will take place Nov. 7, 2011. The bride-elect’s parents, grandparents and great-grandparents share the same anniversary as the bride.
