Charles Frank McCarty Jr., 65, of Columbiana passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at his home. He was a member of Selma Elks Lodge for 30 years and a member of Local #78.

The funeral service washeld Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Paul Lane and the Rev. Tim Henry presiding at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Montevallo Cemetery.

He is survived by Alma McCarty, who he had been married to for 34 years; his sister, Carol Harris; his brother, Paul McCarty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
