In my 34 years as a professional, I&8217;ve been a teacher, an information technology manager and an entrepreneur. I also have volunteered with community initiatives, including adult literacy. Through these experiences, I have come to realize that education is the foundation of strong communities. I am seeking Shelby County Board of Education place two so that I can work to build a better future for all residents. As a school board member, I will work to increase the use of technology to benefit our children, teachers, parents as well as administrators; develop more partnerships between corporations and schools and plan more effectively for the massive student population growth in our schools
