The Thompson High School volleyball team defeated Hillcrest High School of Tuscaloosa 25-17, 25-12, 25-8 in high school volleyball action Sept. 7.

Jade Douglas led the Warriors with 14 kills in the victory. Douglas also recorded a team-high two blocks in the match.

Katie Guiser added 10 kills. Sonia Acosta posted a team-high five service aces and 30 assists. Emily Cofer chipped in three service aces.
