The Cornerstone Christian School volleyball team completed a season sweep of rival Coosa Valley Academy following a 25-11, 25-14, 25-21 win over the Rebels in an Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 1A, Region 1 contest Sept. 6.

The Chargers recorded a season-high 35 service aces in the match.

Lindsey Sims led Cornerstone Christian with four kills and 12 service aces in the victory.

Laura Beth Franklin added one kill and nine service aces. Jaclyn Largin recorded eight service aces and two assists. Nicki Waldrop registered three service aces and three assists.

Alyssa Schreiber finished with three kills, two service aces and one assist. Lindsey Greer registered one service ace. Grace Perry finished with one kill.
