Janet Elliott and the late Thomas E. Elliott of Birmingham announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Tatum Elliott, to Jarrod Micah Burnett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Burnett of Horton.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Elliott of Goldthwaite, Texas, the late Walter A. Tatum of Chelsea, and Ms. Donna ‘Lee’ Tatum of Chelsea.

Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of East High School in Cheyenne, Wyo.; and a 2007 graduate of New Beginnings College of Cosmetology. She is currently employed by Innovative Designs in Albertville.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. David Formby, the late Elizabeth Long Formby, and the late Mr. John Henry Burnett and Ms. Willie Mae Presley Burnett.

Jarrod is a 2000 graduate of Albertville High School. He is currently employed by Mosley Monogram in Guntersville.

The wedding will be Sept. 22, 2007 at 6 p.m., all family and friends are invited to attend.

Following the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Albertville
