Patricia Ross with the Shelby County Commission office was recognized as a Certified County Revenue Officer Aug. 23 at an awards ceremony during the Association of County Commissions of Alabama’s 79th-annual convention.

The educational program includes six courses of 20 hours each. A total of five courses is required to receive the designation of Certified County Revenue Officer. Ross serves as supervisor for the county’s Business Revenue department
