Mrs. Willie Mae Alexander, age 91, longtime resident of Montevallo, entered into eternal rest Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. She was born July 8, 1916 in Oneonta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fred Alexander; daughter, Anita James; and son, Randall Alexander.

She is survived by daughters, Doris Alexander and Nola Cooper; sons, Steve Alexander, Samuel Alexander, Wayne Alexander and Charles Alexander; 14 grandchildren; a stepsister, Eara Anniston; two nieces; one nephew; and a sister-in-law, Estell Alexander. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at the Mount Sinai Worship Center in Montevallo. The Good Shepherd Funeral Home is directing
