Eloff-Simpson wedding

Vanessa Eloff of Alabaster and Steven Simpson of Alabaster were married at the Christian Life Church on May 19, 2007 at 2:30 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Tommy and Kathy Eloff and the granddaughter of Lewis and Rosie Allen.
The groom is the son of Steve and Debbie Simpson and the grandson of Joe and Nellie Cato.
The bride wore an A-line, strapless silk Maggie Sottero gown with a corset back. The maid of honor was the bride’s best friend, Ashley Santini of Alabaster. The bridesmaids were Erika Pocopanni of Alabaster, a cousin of the bride; and Allie Bjurman, Stacey Griffith and Jessica Terrell, all of Alabaster, who are friends of the bride. They wore strapless, frost-blue tea-length Maggie Sottero dresses with beadwork at the top.
The best man was Blake Simpson of Alabaster, the brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Jonathan Chance of Pelham, a friend of the groom; Jonathan Wood, a friend of the groom; Will Richardson Alabaster, a friend of the groom; and Cameron Mann of Alabaster, a friend of the bride and groom.
The wedding flowers were white roses. The flower girls were Michelle and Brooke Cato, cousins of the groom. The ring bearers were cousins of the bride Chaz Pocopanni of Alabaster and Billy Wayne Hughes of Hoover.
Following a reception at the Christian Life Church, the couple honeymooned in Orange Beach and currently reside in Calera.
The bride is a kinesiology major at the University of Montevallo. The groom graduated from Montevallo with a bachelor of arts degree
