The Briarwood Christian School volleyball team fell to Mountain Brook 16-25, 15-25, 20-25 in high school volleyball action Aug. 30.

Senior Logan Nasworthy led the Lions (4-5) with 11 kills in the match. Nasworthy added a team-high 12 digs, three service aces and two blocks.

Senior Carly Cline added three kills. Cline also recorded nine digs and one service ace. Sophomore Kayla Crumpler contributed two kills and two blocks.

Sophomore Hope Donohue finished with two service aces and a team-high 11 digs.  Junior Lizzie Baumbach finished with six digs.

Freshman Christie Robertson registered a team-high 16 assists in the match.
