Mrs. McCarley was born in Alabama on May 1, 1948. She passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at home with her family by her side. Mrs. McCarley is the daughter of Mr. Ernest Lee Hollis and Mrs. Annie Amanda Sims Hollis. She was a resident of Shelby.

Memorial services were held at Charter Funeral Home in Calera on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007 at 1 p.m.

Mrs. McCarley is survived by her husband, Larry; sisters, Louise Hollis Hosey (Amos) and Shirley H. Goodyear, all of Calera; sister-in-law, Teresa Sellers (Kenneth) of Hueytown; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera
