Dear Editor,
I recently read the Oct. 31 edition of the Shelby County Reporter. Published in that edition were minutes from the Wilsonville town council meeting on Sept. 10.
In those minutes, under public comments, it said that I addressed the council with my concern that the town may be paying $100,000 needlessly for a water line to Columbiana&8217;s wells.
I think the Shelby County Treatment Plant should be producing water soon enough for the town to buy water from that source.
While my complaint remains the same, I believe I either misspoke or was misquoted as to the dollar amount. I felt then, as I do now, that the figure is not $100,000, but in fact exceeds $1,300,000.
Obviously, that&8217;s quite a difference.
