Post season honors continue to roll in for Auburn University punter Ryan Shoemaker. The redshirt freshman from Oak Mountain High School was named a first team Freshman All-American by “Sporting News” Friday.

He was also named the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team punter and was a second team All-SEC selection. He also received Freshman All-American honors from http://CollegeFootballNews.com.

Shoemaker ranks second in the nation in punting with an average of 43.2. His longest this season is 64 yards
