The Oak Mountain High School volleyball team swept Vestavia Hills 25-16, 25-23, 25-22 in high school volleyball action Aug. 23.

Sophomore Hannah Beach led the Eagles with nine kills in the victory. Beach added six digs and 14 assists in the match.

Senior Abbie Bourque added eight kills and four blocks in the victory. Junior Emily Cosgrove finished with seven kills, three digs and three blocks.

Seniors Maria Reese and Ashton Slawinski recorded two kills each. Junior Rosie Wendel finished with four digs and 14 assists.

Sophomore Melanie Sloaneker registered three digs. Junior Amy Ritenour finished with one dig.
