Hubbard Arthur Moore, 79, of West Blocton passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at home. He was born Jan. 3, 1928 to Herman E. Moore and Martha Atchison Moore. He served his country during the Korean War. He married Nora Lee White on Aug. 7, 1948.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m., with visitation Dec. 27 from 6-8 p.m., at Charter Funeral Home. Brother Houston Belcher and Brother Darryle Nichols officiated. He was buried in Shelby Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Martha Moore; brothers, Alvin and Edwin Moore; and sister, Margie Hester. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nora; son, Danny and daughter-in-law, Cheryl; sister, Myrtle (Walter) Hester; brother-in-law, Neil (Patricia) White; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little buddy Jett and two faithful pals, Scooter and Shadow.
Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera
