Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Edward Patterson Jr. of Hoover announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Michelle to John William Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Newman William Morris, II of Gainesville, Ga.

The wedding is planned for June 7, 2008, at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Hoover.

Miss Patterson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Woodard of Hoover, Mrs. Louise Patterson of Alabaster and the late Mr. Ernest Edward “Bo” Patterson.

She is a graduate of Hoover High School and Auburn University, with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She is a member of Chi Omega sorority. She is employed as a Registered Nurse at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr. Morris is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Livingstone Clendenin of Atlanta, Ga. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Newman William Morris of Jackson, Miss. He is a graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Ga. He attended Southern Union and Auburn University. He obtained a degree in Radiologic Science. He is employed as a Registered Radiologic Technologist at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham
