Carroll Crim Williams

Funeral service for Carroll Crim Williams, 86, was held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Spring Creek C.P. Church in Montevallo.
Dr. Scott Fowler and the Rev. Marvin Edmonson officiated. His body lied in state prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. Burial followed at Salem Cemetery in Calera.
Mr. Williams, who passed away in his home March 13, 2008, after an extended illness, was a member of the following organizations: Mason Lodge No. 445 in Calera; former member of Eastern Star No. 499; member of Shriner’s.
His special honors included: Sons of Confederate veterans; Civil War reenactment in the artillery group; veteran of WWII.
His parents, James Douglas and Hattie C. Williams, precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sue S. Williams; daughter, Judy (Glenn T.) Williams Caldwell; son, Ben (Deanna) Shuler; brothers, Robert “Edwin” Williams; grandchildren, Christina and Danielle Shuler; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.
