HOOVER – The Hoover Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and then making fraudulent transactions at a local retailer.
Police said “several” vehicles were broken in to Aug. 2-4 in the Riverchase area. Credit cards were stolen and later used at the Walmart on Lakeshore Drive, according to a press release.
The transactions were made by a man and woman who appeared to be driving a green 1990s-model Ford Explorer and a mid-1980s model Ford F-150 pickup.
Anybody with information on the identities of the suspects is asked to call Hoover Police Sgt. Keith Czeskleba at 739-6795.
