Cub Scout Pack 617 in Chelsea stayed overnight on the USS Alabama in Mobile on July 30. The pack toured the Alabama, the USS Drum submarine and looked at all of the tanks and planes on display. They spent the night on board the battleship in the same quarters used by Navy servicemen 50 years ago. For most of these boys, it was their first time visiting the battleship.
