Landman-Smith engagement

Mr. and Mrs. John Clinton Landman of Pell City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Alyson Marie to Austin Tyler Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry David Smith of Helena.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Anthony Crapet of Pell City and the lat Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Clyde Landman of Birmingham. Miss Landman is a 2003 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School and a 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of Montevallo. Alyson received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at Walter M. Kennedy in Pell City.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Vernon Richard Harrison, the late Mrs. Margaret Harrison of Tallassee and the late Mrs. Barbara Smith of Tallassee. Mr. Smith is a 2000 graduate of Pelham High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Austin received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is currently employed with Saiia Construction as a project engineer.
The couple will exchange vows June 28, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Pell City.
