Coty Lovelady, a junior studying theater at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, has been awarded the Fannie Flagg Scholarship for members of the Red Mountain Performing Ensemble.

The Fannie Flagg Scholarship is available for current members of the Performing Ensemble (excluding seniors). This scholarship allows one recipient to attend all RMTC educational opportunities at no cost to the student. This includes the Youth Musical Theatre Workshop or the Advanced Workshop, all Master Classes and any other educational events. In addition, the recipient will be guaranteed a spot in the Performing Ensemble for the following year.

Lovelady is a Montevallo resident and is the son of Jan and Joey Lovelady
