Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jamison of Dalton, Ga. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kara Jamison to Brandon King of Wilsonville, son of Lisa King of Columbiana and Dennis King of Wilsonville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jamison of Dalton and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Chance of Dalton.

Miss Jamison graduated from Southeast High School in Whitfield County, Ga. and then attended North Georgia College and State University. She obtained a bachelor’s of science in middle grade education. She is employed as a teacher at Lumpkin County Middle School in Georgia.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Joiner of Columbiana and Annie Mae King of Wilsonville and the late Wilburn King.

Mr. King graduated from Shelby County High School and is currently employed at Gresham, Smith and Partners as a civil designer.

Their wedding will take place June 7, 2008 in Dalton, with a reception to follow.
