ALABASTER – Thompson High School boys’ basketball players Brandon Chambers and Dameion Bland recently signed letters of intent to play basketball in college.

Chambers, who led Thompson in scoring as a senior with 16.1 points per game, signed with NCAA Division I school Kennesaw State University. Bland, who averaged 9.8 points per game and shot 77 percent from the free-throw line, signed with NCAA Division II school University of West Alabama.
