Funeral service for Sherry Pate Glass, age 46, of Shelby, will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with brother Roger Hamaker officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 6-8 p.m., at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Glass, who passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, was born May 10, 1962, in Shelby County. She was a dedicated wife of 29 years, a homemaker and also worked outside the home. She was saved by the grace of God and has gone to her heavenly home.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Howard Pate.

Mrs. Glass is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Glass; two sisters, Janet Minor and Debra Pate; mother, Dorothy Pate; brother-in-law, Rick (Alyson) Glass; two nephews, John Fuqua, Jr. and Hunter Glass; two nieces, Samantha Glass and Courtney Glass; two great-nephews, Stephen DeShazo and Nicholas DeShazo; one great-niece, Kristin DeShazo; mother- and father-in-law, Elner and Billy Joe Glass; and a host of other family and friends.
