July 20

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Highway 31 South, Camp Branch Homes (residence, home), Calera. Stolen were 90 20mg Adderall tablets and 110 1mg Xanex tablets.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from the 100 block of Gunlock Road (residence, home), Wilton. Stolen was a black Ruger 9mm pistol valued at $299.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 2600 block of Inverness Lane (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen was a Garmin GPS unit, a credit card and a blank check.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1300 block of Inverness Cliffs (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen was a sliver Hewlett Packard laptop computer valued at $1,500, a Verizon air card valued at $200 and a black book bag valued at $50.

-Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from E. Inverness Parkway and Heatherbrooke Park Road (commercial), Birmingham. Recoverd was a bottle containing a gram of a green leafy substance. Also recovered was a pipe made of foil used to smoke marijuana.

-Rape from the 2200 block of Crestwell Road (residence, home), Harpersville.

-Miscellaneous information from the 11000 block of Highway 55 (field, woods), Sterrett.

-Civil dispute from Twin Oaks Way (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Runaway from the 100 block of County Road 19 (residence, home).

-Property damage from the 6000 block of Forest Lakes Cove (highway, street), Sterrett. Damage of an unknown amount was done to a 2003 BMW 325.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Gilmore Nick Circle (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Structure fire from the 11000 block of Highway 17 (residence, home), Montevallo. Damage of an unknown amount was done to a double-wide trailer.

-Criminal trespass from the 100 block of Ventana Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Overdose from the 100 block of School Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 4200 block of Chesapeake North (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Agency assist from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Computer Lab (other, unknown).

-Possession of chemical compounds from County Road 47 and Industrial Parkway (highway, street), Columbiana. Recovered was 4.1 grams of Guci exotic potpourri blend.

-Missing person from Dogwood Hill Drive (other, unknown), Leeds.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 6400 block of Highway 25 (residence, home), Montevallo. Recovered were two 500mg Hydrocodone tablets.

July 21

-Theft of property from the 400 block of Meadow Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were 15 vinyl record albums valued at $1,000, a “Nu-Tech” turntable with blue needle valued at $1,000, a “Technique” turntable with red needle valued at $1,400, a Samsung cell phone valued at $500, a Blackberry cell phone valued at $300, a “Booth” music mixer valued at $1,000 and a 1.5 karat solitaire diamond engagement ring (white gold) valued at $3,000.

-Theft of lost property from 380 McDow Road (Shelby County Jail). Stolen was a wedding band with diamonds valued at $1,000 and an engagement ring valued at $2,000.

-Rape and sodomy from the 3000 block of Sunny Meadows Lane (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of prescription medication from the 200 block of Brookhighland Lane (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Recovered was approximately 2.8 grams of Promethazine and approximately 6.6 grams of Hydrocodone.

-Burglary from the 2500 block of Westminster Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen and/or damaged was a kitchen sink, microwave, stove, light fixture, refrigerator, brass outlet covers and copper piping and wires from a fuse box.

-Burglary from the 200 block of County Manor Drive (residence, home), Sterrett. Stolen was a computer, an X-box, games and a small TV, all of unknown value.

-Fraudulent use of credit card from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 (convenience store), Birmingham.

-Suicide attempt from the 100 block of County Road 416 (residence, home).

-Theft of property (tag) from the 100 block of Inverness Cliffs (other, unknown), Birmingham. Stolen was a vehicle tag valued at $97.85.

-Domestic violence (menacing) from the 500 block of Sheffield Way (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous information from a traffic stop at County Road 22 and County Road 226 (highway, street), Montevallo.

-Miscellaneous information from the 0-100 block of Spring Branch Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 100 block of Chelsea Station Drive (residence, home), Chelsea.

July 22

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road (Shelby County Jail), Columbiana. Recovered was approximately 2 grams of Soma pills and approximately 1 gram of Xanax pills.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from Highway 17 and Highway 10 (Chevron parking lot), Montevallo. Recovered were 12 blue Adderall pills.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from Oak Mountain Lodge on U.S. 280 (hotel, motel), Birmingham.

-Property damage from County Road 52 (commercial), Helena. Damage in the amount of $500 was done to a 1999 passenger van.

-Domestic investigation from Chesser Reserve Drive (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Domestic dispute from Highway 25 (residence, home), Leeds.

-Domestic investigation from Chelsea Recreation Park on the 3000 block of County Road 39 (parking lot, garage), Chelsea.

-Harassing communications from the 6400 block of Beaver Brook Cove (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Identity theft from the 0-100 block of Asberry Lane (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen from a debit card was $29.90.

-Domestic investigation from the 600 block of Cove Road (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 1800 block of Heatherbrooke Road (residence, home), Birmingham. Recovered was a Xanax pill and a glass pipe used for smoking drugs.

-Domestic violence III (harassment) from the 1800 block of Highway 30 (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from Turtle Lakes Apartments on the 900 block of Turtle Lake Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Church Street (residence, home). Stolen were Domino’s Pizza items valued at $64.

-Harassing communication from the 200 block of Share Front Lane (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Criminal mischief from Highway 51 (residence, home), Sterrett. Damage in the amount of $35 was done to a black metal mailbox.

-Harassing communications from Abbott Square (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Property damage from Highway 39 near Sweet Gum Drive (highway, street), Chelsea. Damage of an unknown amount was done to a 2012 Nissan Altima.

-Minor in possession of alcohol from Highway 145 at County Road 47 (highway, street).

-Domestic investigation from the 3900 block of County Road 47 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Harassing communications from the 1000 block of Strawberry Road (residence, home), Shelby.

July 24

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from Meadows on the Lake Apartment Complex (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen was a Garmin GPS unit valued at $200, an Apple I-Phone valued at $400 and a Dell Inspirion laptop valued at $800.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 5400 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Heardmont Park (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a woman’s purse valued at $30, $130 in U.S. currency and a wallet valued at $10 containing various cards and IDs.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 5400 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Heardmont Park (parking lot, garage). Stolen was approximately $80 in U.S. currency.

-Burglary from the 4700 block of U.S. 280 E. (restaurant), Birmingham. Stolen was $600.64 in U.S. currency.

-Suicide attempt from the 200 block of Wandering Meadow Drive (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Harassment from the B&B Foodmart at 4154 Highway 47 (service, gas station), Shelby.

July 25

-Theft of property from Gamefish Court (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was a Kodak camera valued at $322.58, a diamond ring valued at $1,200, two gold chains valued at $700, a bed comforter set with sheets and pillows valued at $300, a lamp valued at $30, two candle holders and wick candles valued at $30 and set of luggage valued at $100.

-Burglary from Ewing Street (residence, home), Wilson. Stolen was a black pistol of unknown value, a gray Acer laptop computer valued at $300, a black Toshiba laptop computer valued at $400, an X-Box 360 valued at $300, a Playstation 3 valued at $300 and a red leisure suitcase valued at $150.

-Possession of shot-barreled shotgun from Autumn Lane (residence, home), Montevallo. The black shotgun was recovered.

-Runaway from the 0-100 block of Walker Run (other, unknown), Alabaster.

-Runaway juvenile from the 0-100 block of Mt. Laurel Avenue (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Harassing communications from the 8000 block of County Road 47 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Shoplifting from the 16000 block of U.S. 280 (department store). Stolen and recovered was an XBOX 360 online access card valued at $99.92, a Nintendo Wii online access card valued at $119.88, a Criminal Minds DVD set valued at $39.96, a Bleach DVD box set valued at $59.92, a DVD set of The Closer valued at $89.88, a Naruto DVD set valued at $29.96 and a Des Hous DVD set valued at $39.96.

-Miscellaneous information from the 16000 block of U.S. 280 (bank), Chelsea.

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 1000 block of Hermitage Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen from a debit card was $350.

-Domestic violence investigation from the 6500 block of Beaver Brook Cove (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Missing person (runaway juvenile) from the 5500 block of Huntcliff Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous information from the 2000 block of Westover Road (residence, home), Westover.

-Miscellaneous information from the 300 block of Shelby Forest Drive (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Identity theft from an unknown location in Douglas, Georgia (other, unknown). Stolen from a checking account was $896.

-Miscellaneous information (civil dispute) from the 0-100 block of Old Buttermilk Road (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Domestic investigation from the 10000 block of Highway 55 (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Harassing communications from Strother Street (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Domestic violence (menacing) from Autumn Lane (residence, home), Montevallo. A black shotgun was recovered.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana II and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 16000 block of U.S. 280 (restaurant), Chelsea. Recovered was a homemade drug pipe made of aluminum foil and containing the residue of a substance believed to be marijuana.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of a forged instrument from the 16000 block of U.S. 280. Stolen were 90 Hydrocodone 10mg/500mg tablets valued at $42.79.

July 26

-Theft and unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 100 block of Lenox Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen from a credit card was $419.74.

-Theft of property from the 500 block of Liberty Road (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen was a pearl necklace with diamond/sapphire valued at $4,500, pearl diamond earrings valued at $450, pearl studs valued at $150, a pearl bracelet valued at $250, a pearl bracelet valued at $150, a pearl and diamond ring valued at $500 and a sapphire and diamond ring valued at $400.

-Burglary from the 2900 block of Highway 331 (residence, home), Columbiana. Damaged was a garage entry walk in door. Stolen was a black Kenmore Elite Stove cook top (flat), two black Kenmore Elite ice makers and a black Kenmore Elite oven.

-Theft of property from the 2200 block of Highway 31 (commercial), Calera. Stolen was $3,200 in U.S. currency.

-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Juniper Road (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was an HVAC 4-ton A/C unit valued at $3,000.

-Harassing communications from Grant Street (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Death investigation from the 5000 block of County Road 10 (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Merrell Beach Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Vehicle fire from Highway 25 (specialty store), Wilsonville. Damage valued at $1,500 was done to a starter for a 2000 Sterling tractor.

-Domestic investigation from Et Lane (residence, home), Vandiver.

-Death investigation (hospice) from the 100 block of Dusty Way (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Death investigation (hospice) from the 3500 block of Conestoga Way (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Property damage from Meadow Drive (highway, street), Birmingham. Damage valued at $1,500 was done to a 2000 Lexus.

-Theft of property from Highway 37 at Beaver Creek Road (highway, street), Columbiana. Stolen were two Group 31 batteries for Caterpillar valued at $160.

-Theft of property from Highway 311 at Higgins Road (highway, street), Shelby. Stolen was an American battery for Waldon Sweep Master 250 valued at $60.

-Miscellaneous information from the 11000 block of Highway 11 (other, unknown), Chelsea.

-Harassing communications from the 300 block of Highway 54 (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Miscellaneous information from Hackberry Circle (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Property damage from County Road 280 under the CSX railroad overpass (highway, street), Chelsea. Damage of unknown value was done to the windshield of a 2008 Chevrolet Express 3 van.

-Domestic violence investigation from the 3000 block of Lullwater Road (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous information from Red Bird Drive (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Theft of property from Stone Crest Apartments (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen was a 2003 Honda CBR motorcycle valued at $4,000.

-Theft of property from an unknown location in Shelby County (other, unknown). Stolen was a wallet with contents, a debit card, a credit card, an Alabama driver’s license, a U.S. Army Reserves military issued ID card and military issued dog tags.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from the 1900 block of Indian Lake Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a debit card, a driver’s license and $20 in assorted U.S. currency.

-Theft of property and unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 100 block of Lenox Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen from a credit card was $419.74.

July 27

-Burglary from the 1200 block of Inverness Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were two flat screen TVs valued at $600, a printer valued at $100, five rings valued at $1,000, a Nintendo Wii valued at $250 and seven Wii games valued at $350.

-Burglary from the 700 block of Indian Crest Drive (residence, home), Indian Springs. Stolen was a Marlin .22 rifle valued at $125, a Stihl chainsaw valued at $350, a DeWalt 12-inch miter saw valued at $350, a broadcast spreader valued at $40, a porter cable air compressor valued at $300, a Sears orbital buffer valued at $50 and a Dewalt cordless drill valued at $150.

-Receiving stolen property from U.S. 280 at Cahaba Park Circle (highway, street), Birmingham. Recovered was a black Sirius XM Onyx receiver, a black Magnavox Blu-Ray player, a black Motorolla ATT&T flip phone, a gray Magnavox HDTV, a gray and white Lexmark printer and an Anthony’s Jewelry and Pawn ticket.

-Death investigation from the 3000 block of Chelsea Park Ridge (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Missing person from the 12000 block of Highway 43 (government, public building), Vandiver.

-Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card from the 2100 block of Stonecrest Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen from a Visa debit card was $630.

-Theft of property from the 2000 block of Highway 28 (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen was a Ford Ranger, a Chevy Blazer, four Dodge vans, a Chevy car, three miscellaneous vehicle and a propane tank, all of unlisted value.

-Miscellaneous information from the 300 block of Chesser Park Road (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Domestic investigation from Meadowgreen Drive (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Property damage from the 6300 block of Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street), Birmingham. Damaged was the front passenger side bumper of a 2010 BMW 328i.

-Theft of property from the 4000 block of Highway 47 (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was a midnight blue Mongoose bicycle valued at $100.
