The Novella Club of Columbiana is sponsoring its 16th Annual Antiques, Arts and Craft Show this Saturday, Aug. 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shelby County Exhibition Center (Shelby County 70 next to the School of Technology). This year promises to be the best show ever with something for everyone.

Committee members include: Co-Chairs Peggy Wood and Jo Ann Holcombe; Vendors Heidee Vansant, Bonnie Atchison and Wood; Advertising Marcia Murrah; Signs and Banners Amanda Randolph; Sponsorship Holcombe; Food Renee Wilder, Janice Key, Gloria Beasley, Sallie Lawshee, and Randolph.

Breakfast and lunch will be for sale: breakfast snacks, hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken salad and homemade desserts. A bake sale by Novellas will have the recipes attached. There will be children’s activities and a diverse array of vendors.

Vendors include: Mary Ann D. Allen, photography; Melanie Cooper, hand-made crochet and decor; Teresa Wamble, gourd art; Lamar Jeffries and Jeff Shimizu, hand-built clay items; Lori Rhodes, handmade jewelry including pearls; Edward and Linda Crotwell, Sterling silver and 14k gold jewelry; Ruby Payne, Barbie doll clothes and accessories; Mary Wilson, Heaven Sown Hats; Kellanee Lawley, handmade dog treats; Jim and Del Yoder, custom wood crafts; Bill Payton, hand-turned bowls, vases, candlesticks; Jessica Spencer, scrapbooking and altered letters; Harold and Carol Adelman, jewelry; Bonnie Atchison, fine art; Mary Ann Brechun, oil paintings and decorative pillows; Michael Beasley, woodworking crafts; Jim Waldrop, silverware jewelry; Juniata Albright, hand-crafted jewelry and crocheted towels; Leah Lamey, wreaths and jewelry; Neville Peacock and Debbie Garvin, handcraft jewelry; Margaret Tallie, crochet, scarves and flip flops; Sue Keahey and Hesper Clemons, The Fun Store jewelry; Beth Lake and Judy Tillman, embroidery and monogramming items.

Also, the Historic Shelby Association will have a booth with sorghum syrup, T-shirts, cookbooks and a quilt raffle. The Columbiana Culture Club will be selling their cookbooks and 100-year history book. And last, the Novella Club will be selling their cookbook and coverlets with landmarks of Columbiana.

Proceeds from the show are given back to each Columbiana school, including scholarships for Miss Shelby County and a Shelby County High School girl. Novella also sponsors projects to: monogram a coverlet for each new resident at the Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation Center; deliver food boxes to Shelby Woods Senior Community; and entertain cancer survivors and their families with the Novella Cancer Survivor Dinner.
