Robert N. Howell, 69, of Alabaster died May 29, 2008, at Brookwood Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne; three sons, Robert Howell-Noel and wife Ellen of Monroe, N.J.; Stephen Howell and Bobby Murphy, of Alabaster; and Timothy Howell, also of Alabaster; a daughter, Cassie Juba; and nine grandchildren.

A sister, Linda Kersey of Lakeland, Fla. and a brother, Jimmy Howell of Bartow, Fla, also survived him.

Mother, Nellie Mae Howell; father, Norman Howell; and a brother, Johnny Howell, preceded him.

Services were held May 30, 2008 at Alabaster Church of God.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the deceased’s name to Alabaster Church of God, 530 1st Avenue West, Alabaster, Alabama 35007.

Bob was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
