The summer months are getting busy in Columbiana and there are lots of options for everyone to take advantage of this season.

At the library, be sure to catch “Ant Bully” on video, complete with popcorn, drink and the library’s version of chocolate covered ants! Showtime is Friday, June 6 at 1 p.m. On Tuesday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m., be sure to catch “Going Buggy” story time with Ms. Jane.

The Missoula Children’s Summer Camp Theatre, sponsored by the Shelby County Arts Council, presents Sleeping Beauty June 9-14 in Columbiana.

Other calendar items include: South Shelby Chamber luncheon, Thursday, June 5 at noon at Columbiana United Methodist Church; parks and recreation board meeting, Monday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at City Hall; Friends of the Library, Tuesday, June 10 at 2 p.m. at the library; and the Columbiana Water Board meeting, Tuesday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Water Board Building.
