Adam Tharp, of Wilsonville, has been named an All-American Scholar for his academic disciplines.

Adam is a student at Columbiana Middle School and was his teacher, Andrea Jacobsen.

He is the son of Timothy and Tammy, of Wilsonville. He is the grandson of Ivon and Sue Bentley of Adamsville and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Tharp of Pensacola, Fla.
