Greg and Karen Prophitt of Calera announce the birth of their son, Nathan James Prophitt, on April 21 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Donna and Mike Horton of Montevallo, Frank and Linda Junkins of Jasper and Larry and Wanda Prophitt of Dothan.
