The Calera Elks recently held their third-annual car show, which John Rowland of Montevallo won with his ’57 Chevy Belair. Johnny Hamilton took home the Elk’s Choice with a ’67 Chevelle SS. The top 10 winners were: Dirk Lowery, Don Gottier, Pete Lowry, Clarence Gaines, Charles Kent, Jimmy Reynolds, S.L. Southerland, Steve Gilbert, Cornel Woods and Jerry Tippett. Sponsors included: Just Russ Rental, Davis Auto, Penhall Company, Calera Signs and Banner, Central State Bank, Polka Dots, Joe’s Brickwork, Ronnie Ellison’s Auto Sales, Advance Auto of Calera, and Highway Management System
