At least one dead after U.S. 280 accident

At least one person was killed Monday afternoon in a vehicle accident on U.S. 280 at Willow Leaf Road, according to the Alabama Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

A spokesperson for the Alabama Highway Patrol said the name of the deceased isn’t being released at this time.
