Laura Denise Parker, age 52, of Fort Mill, S.C., formerly of Chelsea, passed away June 29, 2008.

A service to celebrate her life was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Chelsea Church of God.

Burial followed at K-Springs Church of God Cemetery. The family received friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. Denise is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Chapman Parker, and stepmother, Olene Wilson Parker.

She is survived by her father, Willie J. Parker; brothers, Jim Parker (Wanda) of Albertville, Jerry Parker (Janet) of Charlotte, N.C.; stepbrothers, Larry Wilson, Lamar Wilson, Lynn Wilson and Lonnie Wilson, and their families; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special friends.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
