Annette Smith Tyler, 83, passed away on November 14, 2024. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and community leader. Annette served on the original Planning Commission of Westover and was elected to the Town Council in 2004, serving for 20 years. She was instrumental in founding the Westover Library, Senior Center, Historical Society, and establishing the annual Christmas Parade.

She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Darryl Langlois, and her husband, Lehman Oscar Tyler. She is survived by her children, Ramona (Greg) Whitley, Susan Smith, and Kenny (Misty) Smith, her grandchildren: Emery Wilder, Rebecca (Keith) Hobbs, Zak Smith, Parker (Kaelin) Langlois, Hannah Dawson, Evelyn Smith, and Jordan Smith, as well as her many great-grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held in the business room at the Chelsea Community Center on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
