 CALERA – With parade floats and merry melodies, the Calera Parks and Recreation department will host the 2024 Calera Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.

With this year’s theme of “Winter Wonderland,” the classic holiday tradition will see Calera residents gather along the usual route on Highway 31. Although the event starts at 6 p.m., residents are encouraged to arrive early to snag good positions along the parade route.

According to Calera Parks and Rec Community Programs Manager Tyler Madison shared that the parade will start at the Calera Community Center and run all the way to Calera City Hall.

Madison also shared that there is still time for any interested organizations to join the fun.

“(The parade is) a great event for the community to start the Christmas Season,” Madison said. “If anyone would like to be a part of the Calera Christmas Parade, visit Calera Park and Rec Facebook page and click the link to register your float.”
