WILSONVILLE – Holiday cheer will spread throughout Wilsonville in early December as residents prepare for the town’s third annual Christmas parade and tree lighting festivities.
The Town of Wilsonville will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at Central Park. During the event, there will also be performances by the Wilsonville Elementary School choir, Wilsonville Baptist Church and Dream Makers Dance.
The following weekend, on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m., residents will gather together to enjoy watching the procession of paradegoers accompanied by festive floats and Santa Claus himself during the third annual Wilsonville Christmas Parade. Afterward, children can stop by the Vernice Stoudenmire Library to write a letter to Santa Claus and to take a photo with jolly old St. Nicholas at Wilsonville Town Hall.
