Shelby County Diamond Awards Luncheon to honor recipients on Dec. 5

COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County Chamber will honor the organizations and individuals who contribute to making Shelby County a great place to live during the annual Shelby County Diamond Awards Luncheon.
The luncheon is presented by The Shelby County Chamber in collaboration with Calera Main Street, Columbiana Main Street, Montevallo Main Street and the Montevallo Chamber of Commerce. It will take place on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Grande Hall at Old Mill Square in Columbiana which is located at 105 W. College Street.
Nomination categories for the Shelby County Diamond Awards include the following:
- Nonprofit Organization of the Year
- Public Servant of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
Additionally, one recipient will be recognized in each of the following categories:
- Nonprofit
- Public Servant
- Citizen of the Year
During the Shelby County Diamond Awards Luncheon, Shelby County Historical Society Board President and 2021 Citizen of the Year recipient David Nolen will be featured as a guest speaker.
