NORTH SHELBY – The Town of Mt Laurel and The ARC Realty Mt Laurel Sales Team will host the 2024 Mt Laurel Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Tiffany Bittner with ARC Realty said she’s not sure how many years the event has taken place, but it’s been quite a few.

“Over the last five years we’ve been leading it, we’ve been trying to grow it,” Bittner said. “We’ve had some record attendance in recent years and are expecting over 230 vendors this year.”

The event is held to celebrate the best fall has to offer with a vibrant street fair, dishes from local area restaurants and food trucks. Guests can enjoy a day strolling the streets of Mt Laurel at this free event.

There will be a large variety of goods available for purchase at the pop-up booths. Thousands of guests attend the festival each year and many enjoy buying pumpkins and mums at the Mt Laurel Grocery.

“We really try to hone in on true artisans with handmade items including soaps, jams, candles and more,” Bittner said.

Around a dozen food trucks will be in attendance at the event, including Son’s Donuts, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee, Alabama Kettle Corn, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Kona Ice. All of the restaurants in the town of Mt Laurel will also be open for guests to enjoy.

Bands will be playing live music throughout the day on the Bryson Square Stage just behind the Cahaba Valley Fire Department.

“This is an opportunity for us to give back to the community and a great time to have everyone come out and enjoy the kick off to the fall season,” Bittner said. “The whole downtown is essentially blocked off from Olmsted Street to the fire department.”

There will be a kid’s zone area off of Olmsted Street by the town’s playground area featuring bounce houses and rides. The event will be held rain or shine.

The following event at Mt Laurel will be their Holiday Market on Saturday, Dec. 7 which features all of the stores having open houses and an appearance from Santa Claus.
