The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 9-15:

 

March 9

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from the 10300 block of U.S. 280, Westover. An envelope with approximately 28 grams of a green leafy substance that appears to be marijuana, a pink grinder with residue and three jars used to store narcotics were confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from Massey Road at Oakwood Drive, Alabaster. A bag containing meth (approximately 1.2 grams), digital scale with white residue and a bag with dozens of small corner bags for packaging/selling drugs were confiscated.

-Certain persons forbidden from U.S. 280 and Shelby County 437.

-Domestic investigation from the 1100 block of Inverness Cliffs Drive, Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 2600 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham. A Glock 44 9-millimeter firearm was stolen.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Woodbury Drive, Sterrett. A smartphone and a white powdery substance (1.3 grams) were confiscated.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 2600 block of Drennen Place, Birmingham. A Social Security card and birth certificate were stolen.

-Harassment from the 30 block of Kings Ranch Drive, Wilsonville.

-Theft of property from the 0 block of Monte Tierra Trail, Alabaster. A total of $2,500 was stolen.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia from Shelby County 17 at Longmeadow Road, Maylene. Marijuana (93.2 grams), a digital scale and an Eclipse gum container with marijuana residue were confiscated; a Glock 19 9-millimeter firearm with two magazines containing 37 rounds was reported.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 5400 block of Woodford Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence third degree-menacing, harassing communications from the 900 block of Old Mill Creek Drive, Shelby.

-DUI-alcohol, reasonable prudent speed from U.S. 231 and Shelby County 60, Vincent. A Glock 26 9-millimeter firearm, Luger LCR and North American Arms 22 Magnum were confiscated for safe keeping.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Deerhurst Lane, Pelham. Screenshots of text messages were confiscated.

March 10

-Distributing a private image over Tik-Tok.

-Incident from the 5200 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

-Property damage from E.G. Gaston Boulevard and Alabama 25. A 2010 Ford F-150 sustained $300 in damages.

-Incident from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Promoting prison contraband second degree from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana. A white powdery substance identified as meth (less than 1 gram) was confiscated.

-Missing person from the 400 block of Rock School Road, Wilsonville.

-Criminal mischief from the 5200 block of Birdsong Road, Birmingham. A catalytic converter was damaged.

-Children in need of supervision from the 400 block of Rock School Road, Wilsonville.

-Leaving scene of accident from Highland Lakes Drive and Swan Lake Circle, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 19000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham.

March 11

-Incident from the 3400 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence-criminal mischief second degree from the 9100 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham. A 2021 Toyota Rav-4 sustained $501 in damages.

-Fire investigation from the 2500 block of Alabama 25, Wilton. Plastic siding, a cable box, power meter box, electric wires and conduit were burned.

-Domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, domestic violence-harassment from the 700 block of Shelby County 50, Vandiver.

-Civil dispute from Brookside Lane, Vandiver.

-Incident from the 17000 block of Shelby County 61, Wilsonville.

-Promoting prison contraband, unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. Two circular pills pink in color with 54 375 engraved and two rectangular pills green in color with S, 90 and 3 engraved on them were confiscated.

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of Meadowview Road, Maylene.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Lime Creek Lane, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, marijuana second degree from the 1200 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. Suspected marijuana (approximately 0.8 gram), suspected meth (8 grams) and a clear glass meth pipe with meth residue were confiscated.

-Incident from the 100 block of Elliott Lane, Vincent.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 1200 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. A plastic container with marijuana (approximately 3.3 grams) was confiscated.

March 12

-Incident from the 200 block of Briar Patch Way, Maylene.

-Incident from the 400 block of Dusty Hollow Road, Columbiana.

-Incident from the 7900 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

-Criminal mischief, burglary from the 200 block of Chelsea Park Circle, Chelsea. Sheetrock sustained $1,500 in damages, a gas line sustained $2,000 in damages, a copper water line sustained $1,200 in damages, and fireworks caused $400 in damages (burn marks on baseboards).

-Incident from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Westover.

-Death investigation from the 1400 block of Clay Pit Road, Montevallo.

-Identity theft from an unknown location.

-Death investigation from Nolen Street, Birmingham.

-Unauthorized use of credit card, theft of property from the 3100 block of Lullwater Road, Birmingham. An Amazon credit card and charges of $191 on the card were stolen.

-Drug trafficking, promoting prison contraband second degree from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana. Powdered Fentanyl (approximately 4.1 grams) was confiscated.

-Hindering prosecution second degree from the 6300 block of Shelby County 51, Wilsonville.

-Resisting arrest from the 11000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

-Domestic violence-strangulation, menacing from the 500 block of Sunset Lake Lane, Chelsea.

March 13

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment, unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. Three liquid THC vape pens were confiscated.

-Incident from the 1200 block of Shelby County 441, Wilsonville.

-Theft of property, criminal mischief from the 24500 block of Alabama 25, Columbiana. An unknown amount of fiber optic cable was stolen, and copper cable was damaged.

-Death investigation from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 East, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence third degree-criminal mischief from the 100 block of Bridge Drive, Birmingham. A wooden craft bench seat sustained $250 in damages, and window blinds sustained $150 in damages.

-Harassment from the 200 block of Kings Home Drive, Chelsea.

-Harassment from the 400 block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.

-Stalking, installing eavesdropping device from the 24000 block of Hilbun Way, Birmingham.

March 14

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 1000 block of Eagle Mountain Lane, Birmingham. $121.18 in electronic funds were stolen.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Birmingham Street, Montevallo. Aluminum siding valued at $1,200, seven windows valued at $1,050, an air conditioning unit kit valued at $6,000 and two steel doors valued at $400 were stolen; electrical wiring sustained $4,000 in damages.

-Incident from 1 Jefferson Place, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 600 block of an unnamed street in Wilton.

-Harassment from the 600 block of an unnamed street in Wilton.

-DUI-alcohol from the 300 block of Chesser Drive, Chelsea.

-Incident from the 100 block of Hillside Lane, Sterrett.

March 15

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 2000 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from the 2000 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. A bag of marijuana (approximately 4 grams) and a rolled marijuana blunt (.9 gram) were confiscated.

-Fire investigation from the 100 block of Great Pine Road, Leeds. A house was damaged.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Dogwood Circle, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Meth in a clear plastic baggy (0.3 gram), a used syringe with residue and a rubber orange medical strap were confiscated.

-Hindering prosecution from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Stalking from the 300 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 42500 block of Alabama 25, Vincent Middle/High School.

-Incident from the 80 block of Shelby County 55, Wilsonville.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 400 block of Cedar Lake Drive, Calera. Goats were damaged.

-Fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 5200 block of Broken Bow Lane, Birmingham. $800 was stolen.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 5200 block of Broken Bow Lane, Birmingham. $250 was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 1500 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 200 block of Woodbridge Trail, Chelsea.

-Harassment from the 200 block of Chelsea Park Circle, Chelsea.
