Julia Kennerly Mendonca, born March 4, 1931 in Montevallo, AL, died in Anchorage, AK on December 21, 2022. She was the loving wife to Robert R. Mendonca for almost 60 years, and extraordinary mother to five children. She was the proud Grandmother of eight grandchildren.

Her life was filled with travel as the wife of an Air Force Colonel and pilot. Her talents were many: creating a home after a move; teaching her children to read prior to school; sewing/knitting/cooking. She died peacefully: at home, in her own bed, surrounded by her five children.
